This Shipping Policy is part of the terms and conditions governing the use of PALM AND SOIL LLC, doing business as Palm & Soil (“Palm & Soil,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and applies to all orders placed through our website.
By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to this Shipping Policy.
1. Order Processing
Orders are generally processed within 1–5 business days after payment authorization and verification. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Processing times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
We reserve the right to delay, refuse, cancel, or limit any order in our reasonable discretion, including orders suspected of fraud, unauthorized activity, pricing errors, inventory discrepancies, or violations of our policies.
Orders flagged by our payment processors, fraud detection systems, or internal review procedures may be delayed, canceled, or subject to additional verification before shipment.
2. Shipping Locations
We currently ship only to addresses located within the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states).
We do not currently ship to:
- Alaska
- Hawaii
- Puerto Rico
- Guam or other U.S. territories
- International destinations
- APO/FPO/DPO addresses
We reserve the right to refuse shipment to freight forwarders, package forwarding services, reshippers, or other high-risk delivery locations.
3. Delivery Estimates
Any delivery dates or shipping estimates displayed on our website are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Actual delivery times may vary due to:
- Carrier delays
- Weather conditions
- Operational disruptions
- High order volume
- Supply chain interruptions
- Incorrect customer information
- Events outside our reasonable control
We are not liable for shipping delays caused by third-party carriers or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
4. Risk of Loss and Delivery Responsibility
Risk of loss for products transfers to the customer once the carrier takes possession of the shipment.
Once a shipment has been marked as delivered by the carrier to the address provided at checkout, the order shall be considered fulfilled.
We are not liable for:
- Lost or stolen packages after delivery confirmation
- Delivery to an incorrect address provided by the customer
- Carrier delays
- Failed delivery attempts
- Unclaimed packages
- Damage occurring after delivery
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information and ensuring that the delivery location is secure.
We may, in our reasonable discretion, assist customers in filing carrier claims when appropriate. However, we are not responsible for the outcome of such claims.
5. Incorrect Addresses and Returned Shipments
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all shipping information is accurate and complete.
Orders returned due to:
- Incorrect addresses
- Refused delivery
- Failure to retrieve packages
- Undeliverable addresses
may be subject to:
- Additional shipping charges
- Restocking fees
- Partial refunds
- Order cancellation
Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to adjust shipping methods, carriers, or packaging without notice.
Free shipping promotions may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.
7. Shipment Tracking
Tracking information may be provided once an order has shipped.
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates and contacting the shipping carrier regarding delivery scheduling or delivery issues when applicable.
We reserve the right, in our reasonable discretion, to require signature confirmation on any order.
8. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items
Customers must inspect all orders immediately upon delivery.
Claims involving damaged, missing, or incorrect items must be submitted within 14 days of delivery as confirmed by carrier tracking and must include:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the packaging and products
Failure to provide timely notice may result in denial of the claim.
We reserve the right, in our reasonable discretion, to determine whether replacement, store credit, refund, or denial of the claim is appropriate.
9. Carrier Issues
Shipping carriers are independent third parties and are not controlled by Palm & Soil.
While we may attempt to assist customers with carrier claims or investigations, we are not responsible for carrier performance, delivery failures, or carrier errors.
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping or carrier claim processes.
10. Refused or Fraudulent Orders
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, limit quantities, or block transactions suspected of:
- Fraud
- Abuse
- Unauthorized resale
- Chargeback abuse
- Policy violations
- Illegal activity
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Labor disputes
- Supply shortages
- Carrier disruptions
- Government actions
- Internet outages
- War
- Acts of terrorism
- Pandemics
